Why I am running

My experience as an international medical graduate physician specializing in public health has given me a better understanding of the challenges we face at the federal level. My goal is to enhance the healthcare system.

• Prioritize mental health resources and exempt mental health therapy from HST/GST, Bill C-323. 
• Repeal the natural health products Bill C-47 to allow feasible access to products. 
• Fight the public health emergency of opioid overdoses with prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.

 As Canadians struggle with Trudeau's record high inflation, rising food prices, housing affordability crisis, and cost of living crisis, I will work with all levels of government to control inflation and foster economic growth. I will prevent imposing more costly taxes to prevent further harm to Canadians.

• Repeal Bill C-11 & C-18 to restore media autonomy and end media censorship. 

 I am willing to support a plan that is scientifically proven and serious to combat climate change.  And repeal Justin Trudeau's carbon tax hike, which allows the government to tax Canadians and drives jobs and investment out of the country. I will support strong incentives for the agriculture and forestry sectors.

I will address the challenges of community safety from a federal perspective in order to ensure the security of all residents. By creating a secure environment, we can foster a sense of security and encourage community involvement.

As a fresh voice in government, I will utilize my experience to deliver our riding’s interests to Ottawa to get the changes we need.
